De vuelta a la oficina

Todos sabíamos que tarde o temprano, las vacaciones de verano llegaran a su fin, lo que significa regresar al curro. Aunque soy el primero en no querer perder el moreno, cierto es, que el otoño nos dará la bofetada en la cara en cualquier momento, lo mejor sera ponerle buena cara y estar preparado. Hay muchos que estáis deseando ponerse las botas nuevas que ya hay en las tiendas, para esos ansiosos y para los que queráis estar preparados, os dejo el #WhatToWear de esta semana.

Los vaqueros de otoño serán mas oscuros, del mismo corte que los que hemos visto anteriormente; mas bien ajustados. Sobre los pantalones, están dos capas; la camisa de cuadros de vichy, en gris oscuro y blanco. Por encima, un cardigan en azul celeste, fabricado en algodón.

La pieza central; los botines en cuero negro, que serán un tipo de calzado que veremos mucho durante la nueva temporada. Para acompañarlos un maletín de trabajo, también fabricado en cuero, con espacio para el portátil. 

De accesorios; una corbata en color rojo, lisa, hecha en seda, que descansara sobre los cuadros de la camisa. La nota de color la da el pisa-corbata, también en celeste. El reloj, tiene cristal mineral, movimiento por cuarzo y caja rectangular, una joya discreta y elegante para este look.

We all knew that sooner or later the summer holidays come to an end, which means returning to the job. Although I am the first not wanting to lose my tan, it is true that the fall will give us a slap in the face at any time, it´s best to put a good face and be prepared. There are many who're willing to wear a new boots that are already in the shops, and for those eager and for those who want to be prepared, I leave the #WhatToWear of this week.

Jeans for fall will be darker, the same type that we have seen before; rather tight. Over Pants, are two layers; the Vichy checkered shirt, dark gray and white. Above, a cardigan in light blue, made of cotton.

The centerpiece; boots in black leather, which are a type of shoe that will see much during the new season. To accompany, a briefcase ready for work, also made of leather, with space for a laptop.

Accessories; red tie, smooth color, made of skill, which rested on the tables of the shirt. The touch of color gives the tread-tie, also in blue. The watch has mineral glass, quartz movement and rectangular box, a discreet and elegant jewel for this look.

Fular en verano

Una semana mas voy arrastrando mi maleta, cargando en mi nuevo maletín de Tommy el portátil, para poder seguir alimentando el blog. Parece ser que este verano no tiene días de descanso y voy de nuevo dejando un sitio, su gente y sus historias, para trasladarme a pasar unos días, cercano a la costa para despejar, desconectar y sonreír en otras locaciones.

En este look quería compartir con vosotros una de mis piezas favoritas, los fulares; son muy versátiles y agregan un toque de color o de textura. Este, fue fichado para el vestidor en el final de las rebajas.

One more time, I´m carry on whit my suitcase, whit my new Tommy´s briefcase, whit the intention to keep posting in the blog. This summer looks, whit out intentions to have days off, and one again I´m leaving a place, it´s people and it´s histories, for spend a few days, closer to the coast for make my mind free, stay away from it all and smile in a new locations.

In this look I wont to share whit us, one of my favorites garment pieces, the scarf; it´s a really wearable thing, contribute whit a twist of color and texture. This one, was catched for my dressroom in the end of this sale sasson.

Fifties is back

Cierto es que llevamos ya un tiempo sumergidos en la cultura vintage, que afortunadamente rescata muchos de los elementos mas emblemáticos de distintos momentos de la historia de la moda. Una de las cosas que hemos recuperado son las gafas de sol estilo 50´s. Ya os he mencionado muchas veces que las gafas de sol son de mis accesorios favoritos y estas en particular me han encantado.

Ya en otras ocasiones os he mencionado a Pellicano Menswear, es una firma inglesa de alma italiana que en esta ocacion nos presenta sus nuevo modelos de gafas de sol. Combina el estilo clásico en el frente, con una mejora; patas solidas de madera de bamboo, hechas a mano, que hace cada par único.

It´s true that we been submerged into a vintage culture, fortunately rescued many of the most emblematic icons of different moments in the history of fashion. One of the things that we have recovered are the 50's-style sunglasses. I have already mentioned many times that sunglasses are my favorite accessories and these in particular I've loved.

A los peques también les gusta la moda

Hace ya un tiempo que me pidieron un look para compartir entre padres y pequeños, que fuera moderno, cómodo y sobre todo con piezas que los grandes y los los peques, pudieran compartir, para llevar el mismo estilo. Lo complicado de esta misión es que no muchas casas, comparten prendas en esos rangos tan amplios de tallas, ademas los modelos no serán los mismos entre estos. Para el #WhatToWear de esta semana, padres e hijos a conjunto.

Para este look; me decante por GAP, de espíritu californiano, tiene prendas en algodón, de gran calidad y de estilo desenfadado. Las sudaderas, son un básico de las noches de verano, cuando el clima en la playa cambia, pero aun hay muchas cosas para disfrutar. Una con cremallera al frente y la otra cerrada, tienen ambas, logotipo frontal y gorro.

La camisa azul, de cuello de botones, permitirá a ambos lucir formales, pero daremos un toque mas relajado con una camiseta en color brillante debajo, ambas en colores cálidos y de cuello redondo y mangas cortas.

Para los dos, pantalones cortos en el clásico denim americano, de efecto deslavado. Por ultimo, para compartir calzado, la firma seleccionada es Converse, los dos tienen suelas de goma y son deportivas con mucha personalidad sin ser pretensiosas.

Some time ago, I was asked to create a look for share between parents and children, modern, comfortable and above all, whit pieces from the big and little ones, could share, to bring the same style. The tricky thing about this mission, is that not many brands, shared clothes in these broad ranges of sizes and models also isn't the same between them. For this week #WhatToWear, parents and children together.

For this look; I opted for GAP, Californian spirit, has cotton garments, high quality and casual style. Sweatshirts, are a staple of summer nights, when the weather changes at the beach, but there are still many things to enjoy. One whit zipper front and the other closed, have both front logo and cap.

Blue shirt, collar buttons, allow both formal look, but give you a more relaxed flavor with a shirt underneath in bright color, both in warm colors and round neck and short sleeves.

For both, shorts in the classic American denim, washed-out effect. Finally, to share shoes, Converse is the brand selected, the two have rubber soles, these sneakers are full of personality without being pretentious.

Leo, un fiel seguidor

Tengo que empezar este post con una sincera disculpa para nuestro participante en esta publicación. Conocido es que la informática no es la parte que mejor se me da y nuestro servidor de mail esta decidido a fastidiarme las tardes. Por ello es que esta colaboración ha estado pendiente durante algunas semanas. 

Superada esa desgracia, solo me queda presentaros a Leo; uno de nuestro seguidores, que ha querido compartir con nosotros su estilo. Surfeando por su cuenta de instagram @leollipop, podremos ver que Leo, no pierde coacción para sacar del armario pajaritas o gafas y de mostrarnos su colección de cinturones. Este "chico fit", tiene un estilo fresco y elegante, que integra piezas de firmas con un aire divertido, colorido y sobre todo acorde a su edad.

Mis piezas favoritas; las deportivas y el polo, ya en muchas ocaciones os he dicho que un polo me resulta una prenda elegante pero muy desenfadada, Leo la sabe integrar en un look de pantalones cortos. Las deportivas de Lacoste Sport, en blancas, complementan muchos de los estilos de este verano. 

El polo en color naranja, es de Ralph Laurent, que usa a juego con el cinturón, en el mismo color, firmado por Hermes. Los pantalones cortos en color kaki, los usa en la version mas corta de este estilo, pertenecen a Dockers, que es una insignia del estilo preppy. 

De accesorios; las gafas de sol, un requisito del verano, son de RayBan al mas puro estilo "Aviator".  El reloj es de BG y cierra con una cartera de mano, para tener todo controlado de una de las marcas mas fetiche de los "fashionistas", Louis Vuitton.

I have to start this post with a sincere apology to our participant in this publication. Known is, that the computer issues isn´t one of my skills and our mail server, is determined to annoy my evenings. That´s the reason why this collaboration has been pending for several weeks.

Overcome this misfortune, I can only introduce you Leo; one of our followers, who wanted to share with us his style. We surfing on his instagram profile @leollipop, we see that Leo does not lose any chance to bow out of the closet glasses and bowies, and showing his collection of belts. This "fitboy", has a fresh and elegant style, which includes pieces of fancy brands with amusement, colorful and above all according to his age.

My favorite pieces; sports shoes and polo t-shirt, in many occasions I have told you that this kind of shirts is very casual but elegant garment, Leo knows integrate into a look of shorts. Lacoste sport, in white, complement many of the styles this summer.

The orange polo is Ralph Laurent, wearing matching belt in the same color, signed by Hermes. The khaki short pants, is used in the shorter version of this style, they belong to Dockers, a ending brand of a preppy style.

Accessories; sunglasses, a requirement of the summer, by RayBan are the purest "Aviator" style. The clock is  by BG and he  closes this look, with a handbag, to have everything under control, from one of the brands fetish for all the"fashionistas" Louis Vuitton.

De firma en firma

El verano no para y es que debemos aprovechar este maravilloso clima para sacar las piernas al sol, que ya vendrá el momento de los paraguas y los abrigos. Estaba yo revisando las pasarelas para la próxima temporada y es que parece que no quiero que termine el verano. Os he comentado sobre flores y colores claros, pero hoy estoy mas del lado de los colores sólidos. Con piezas de grandes firmas os dejo el #WhatToWear de esta semana.

Las gafas de sol, son de esas cosas a las que me cuesta resistirme, estas de diseño aleman, que mezclan estilo, innovación y materiales de muy alta calidad, dan inicio al look de la semana.

Los deportes, son la pieza de color en este atuendo; su diseñador, con experiencia en la arquitectura, muestra en sus piezas un diseño impecable y alta calidad, de materiales italianos y manufactura portuguesa, estas bombas rojas intensas tienen suela de goma.

Los pantalones cortos, imitan el raso y son de corte slim, en gris aluminio. La camisa es un basico del verano, blanca de mangas cortas, en algodón, de botones a presión y con descuento de rebajas.

De accesorios; el reloj de pulsera, de silicona, resalta el nombre de la marca como elemento de diseño de la caja, en contraste blanco sobre negro. El porta-documentos, es una pieza perfecta para los aeropuertos o las tardes de negocios, tiene espacio para el pasaporte, las tarjetas, bolígrafo y hasta el móvil cabe ahi, un avance de temporada.

Summer does not stop and that we should take advantage of this wonderful weather, to take out the legs to the sun, then will comes the season for umbrellas and coats. I was reviewing the catwalks for next season and it seems I don´t want to end the summer. I have commented about flowers and bright colors, but today I'm more on the side of the solid colors. With pieces of luxury brands I leave the #WhatToWear for this week.

Sunglasses, these are one of the things that I can´t hardly resist, these German design, blending style, innovation and high quality materials, this piece start the look for the week.

Sneakers is the part of color in this outfit; its designer, whit experience in architecture, shown in parts a sleek design and high quality, Italian materials and Portuguese manufacturing, theses sport shoes have intense red and rubber sole.

Shorts, mimic satin, is cut slim, aluminum gray color. The shirt is a  summer basic, white color and short sleeves, is made in cotton, pushbuttons and has sales price.

Accessories; wristwatch, made of silicone, highlight the name of the brand as a design element of the case, in contrast white over black. Los skinny, dan comienzo al look, son de corte slim fit, de ajuste cómodo y a precio de rebaja. Para aportar diversion, la camiseta tiene un estampado muy arriesgado y bolsillo en color agua marina a contraste, de una marca de espíritu deportista y atrevido, fabricada en algodón y de cuello redondo.

Las #airmax, son uno de mis calzados deportivos favoritos, estas en "total white", son cómodas y fáciles de integrar en muchos otros atuendos. Pensando en llevar todo a mano, un lujo de "back pack", fabricado en piel y nylon, de color negro es un complemento perfecto y audaz.

How is going these awakenings on the beach, those hangouts by the terraces with colleagues, these festivals? How is going this summer? I sure well. I've been through of a couple of new sites in the city and truth is that summer always reminds me of the feeling of being young forever, with that "mood" I leave the #WhatToWear for this week.

The skinny, start´s this look, it´s cut slim fit, comfortable fit and sales price. To make fun, shirt has a very risky print and pocket in contrasting by marine water color, by a brand of sportsmanship and daring, made of cotton and round neck.

The #airmax, are one of my favorite sports footwear, these in "total white", is comfortable and easy to integrate into many other outfits. Thinking of taking everything whit us, a luxury of "back pack", made of leather and nylon, black color is a perfect and complement.

Accessories; skater style cap, a signet ring, (it is accepted as a gift), made of black metal and a holster for mobile, this; made in plastic whit a "DJ" design.

En el muelle

Esta siendo uno de los veranos mas divertidos, pese a estas infernales temperaturas y entre las ideas que cruzan mi cabeza, renovar mis mocasines del año pasado, fue una de las mejores desiciones de calzado que he hecho. Solo hizo falta cambien el color del lazo para refrescarlos y darles un nuevo aire, soy muy fan de customizar mis piezas, le dan un toque super personal a mi estilo.

This is one of the most fun summers, despite these hellish temperatures, and between ideas that cross my mind, renew my  last year moccasins, was one of the best decisions I've made about footwear. All it took to change the tie color, to cool them and give them a new look, I'm a big fan of customizing my pieces, give a touch Super staff my style.

Agosto

Ha sido un verano abrumador, la temperatura me ha vuelto loco y los cambios de presión medioambiental (si, suena a un termino sofisticado), harán que cualquier día, la cabeza me explote y me pase lo que siempre hago de broma con una amiga que he adoptado como "prima, de este lado del mundo". Un gesto de contención, que parece terminar cuando te estallan los ojos como dos palomitas de maíz.

Agosto, ha sido un mes de sorpresas y de salidas. De momentos en la playa, de música y de mucho calor. Los fines de semana han estado cubiertos por visitas a Portugal, al pueblo o cualquier sitio donde las temperaturas refresquen, al final, solo se vive el verano una vez por año.

Me ha costado mucho estar a punto con el blog, pero hago todo lo que puedo, y trato de responder al correo y a los mensajes, tan pronto como puedo. Aun sabiendo que casi todo el mundo esta de vacaciones, agradezco mucho a todos los que siguen ahi, leyendo, comentando, compartiendo y colaborando. 

Las rebajas esta en la cuesta final y las grandes gangas están esperando ahi, un consejo personal, si veis una gran oportunidad, no la dejéis pasar, puede ser que cuando volváis, la oferta se haya ido. Así es la vida, pasa por nuestros ojos solo una vez. Luis.

 

It has been an overwhelming summer, the temperature made me  crazy and changes in environmental pressure (yes, sounds like a fancy term), will make any day, my head explodes, me and a good fiend, her title is "my this side of the world, cuisine", we always make a joke, a gesture of restraint, which seems to end when your  two eyes explode like a popcorn.

August has been a month of surprises and outputs. Moments on the beach, music and so much hot. The weekends have been covered by visits to Portugal, the town or anywhere where temperatures be cool; at the end we only live the summer once a year.

It has cost me much be on time whit the blog, but I do everything I can, and I try to respond the email and your comments as soon as I can. Even knowing that almost everyone is on vacation, I am very grateful to all those who are still there, reading, commenting, sharing and collaborating.

The sale season is in the final lap and great bargains are there waiting, a personal advice; if you see an opportunity, do not let it go, it may be that when you return, the offer is gone. That's life, passes through our eyes only once. Luis.

De vacaciones!!!

La playa es uno de los mejores escenarios para lucir tipo sin perder el estilo. Para esta semana os he preparado en el #WhatToWear un look divertido y elegante para no perderse ni un festival, ni ningún mojito en la playa. Si sois de los afortunados que están gozando de las vacaciones y que nos siguen leyendo, este es vuestro look, así que aun en la playa, ya sabes que responder al #QuéMePongo?.

La pieza principal, el bañador tipo boxer, de tela tecnica, de "faces print", es super molón, en blanco y negro. Un bañador para no pasar desapercibido con bolsillos y slip interior.

Para aportar un toque de distinción, la camisa de lino, es perfecta si necesitamos entrar a un sitio donde la camisa sea obligatoria, para no sufrir demasiado con el sol y en una mezcla de algodón y lino. Una pieza que podréis utilizar con otros estilos.

Ya hemos hablado antes del calzado para el verano, y de que los espartos son una pieza ideal para la temporada, os dejo un par en color blanco. Una accesorio imprescindible de la playa, es un sombrero, este en gris plomo, de material sintético viene perfecto.

De accesorios; unas gafas de sol, con protección UV y estuche rígido, con un estilo muy fino y masculino. El colgante de uno de los diseñadores mas icónicos de nuestra época, es un detalle de estilo y una joya perfecta como regalo.

The beach is one of the best places for show our workout, without losing the style. For this week I have prepared in #WhatToWear a fun and stylish look to not miss a festival or any mojito on the beach. If you are the lucky ones who are enjoying the holidays and we are still reading, this is your look, so even on the beach, you will know What To wear?.

The main piece swimsuit boxer type of technical fabric, "faces print", is super groovy, in black and white. A bathing suit to turn heads, with internal slip and pockets.

To bring a touch of distinction, linen shirt is perfect if you need to go to a place where the shirt is mandatory, not to suffer too much sun and a mixture of cotton and linen. A piece that you can use with other styles.

El mejor calzado para el verano

Con la llegada del verano y el calor muchas partes de nuestro cuerpo se resienten. Por eso, debemos prestarles especial atención. Igual que hacemos con nuestro vestuario, tenemos que cambiar nuestro calzado durante esta estación del año.

En el caso de que quieras lucir sandalias, la mejor opción es que compres unas sin demasiado tacón, pero tampoco completamente planas. Las sandalias deben tener un tacón de un centímetro y medio de alto, lo que hará que tu pie se encuentre en una posición natural para caminar y no tengas dolores en los tobillos y las caderas por llevar poco o demasiado tacón

Mucha gente creerá que el zapato plano les hará sentirse más ligeros que aquel que tiene un poco de tacón. Sin embargo, puede llegar a ser todo lo contrario. Los zapatos demasiado planos o con una suela muy fina harán que apoyemos todo el peso de nuestro cuerpo en los tobillos, pantorrillas o caderas, las cuales se verán doloridas si pasamos mucho rato de pie o andando con este tipo de zapatos.

De influencia Árabe

Siempre es un placer ver como las culturas se integran, se funden y dan paso a nuevos estilos y diseños que atrapan nuestra atención. Esta semana tuve la oportunidad de estará en la Fundación Tres Culturas; ubicado en la isla de la cartuja en Sevilla, albergó el pabellón de Marruecos en la exposición universal de 1992.  Es un edificio que destaca la belleza del estilo marroquí y en este magnifico escenario, se presentó la colección de "Romeo". Con una colección rica en detalles, bordados, adornos, pedrería, transparencias y encajes. Entre sus vestidos de gala presento un par de "djellabah" con estilo muy masculino perfectas para este verano, con un carácter definitivamente arabe, que bien se podrían integrar con vaqueros, pantalones de lino, incluso con pantalones cortos, ademas die ser una gran opción para los momentos de playa.

It is always a pleasure to see how cultures are integrated, melt and give way to new styles and designs that catch our attention. This week I had the opportunity to be in the Three Cultures Foundation; Located on the island of La Cartuja in Seville, hosted the Morocco pavilion at the Universal Exhibition of 1992. It is a building that highlights the beauty of Moroccan style in this magnificent setting, they presented the collection of "Romeo". With a richly detailed collection, embroidery, ornaments, precious stones, transparencies and lace. Among his gowns the designer present some "djellabah" with very masculine style; perfect for this summer, with a definitely Arab character, that could well be perfect with jeans, linen pants, even whit shorts, besides is a great option for the beach time.
