Cuatro jeans y cuatro tipos de cuerpo

Hace una semana, un colega de universidad me mandó una guía de pantalones vaqueros, para que la compartiera contigo, así que me he puesto a ello. Así te será más fácil identificar los tejanos que te vengan mejor a la hora de comprar unos nuevos. 

Si eres delgado, de hombros estrechos. Estas de suerte y puedes calzarte los "slim" y "exta slim", vamos, los pitillos que están tan de moda. Apuesta también por los de corte regular, pero cuida que las piernas no sean demasiado anchas. Huye de los "baggy" y "loose"; que hará que parezca que te los dejo tu hermano mayor. 

Si eres de los que hace sus rutinas de BodyPump, cuando se tercia y tienes los hombros medianamente desarrollados al igual que las piernas. Lo tuyo es el "slim", el "regular" y los "relaxed". Tu abanico es mas amplio y puedes moverte en los que te sientas mas cómodo. Evita los cintura muy caída, (se te va el culete entre la tela), los loose y cualquiera demasiado ancho. 

Ahora, si lo tuyo es darle fuerte al entramiento y estás en la categoria de dios del trueno, lo tuyo son los "regular" y si quieres abrir posibildades los "baggy", te resultaran muy cómodos. Los cortes demasiado ajustados no son precisamente la mejor opción ya sabemos que tienes unas piernas de futbolistista, pero esto hace que te veas mas corto y que lejos de verte fuerte, pases a la categoria, fofi-sano. 

Por último, si la dieta y ejercicio se te ha ido a la lista de asignaturas pendientes, aborta cualquier estilo demasiado ceñido al cuerpo, no te serán comodos en cintura, tiro y piernas. Opta por los cortes "loose", que dan mas margen de movimiento, en tonos oscuros te ayudaran a disimular un poco el volúmen.

Con inspiración diaria, llega Alfavi

Hay perfiles que visito de manera regular, por que son super inspiradores. Es que resulta que tener estilo, no es fácil y Alfavi es de eso tíos, a los que les sale un rollazo por todos lados, se atreve con prendas, con texturas y todos los días, nos regala una instantánea con su look del día.

Le encanta mezclar piezas del mas puro estilo vintage, con otras de temporada, para crear looks de lo mas vanguardistas, todo terreno, pero que siempre tienen un toque que lo distingue. Un pañuelo, un lazo o una chaqueta en los hombros, revela su talento para jugar con las piezas que conforman su muy increíble armario. En la parte inferior pantalón negro tobillero, con lazada de marinero, para reforzar el concepto, este es de TopMan. Cierra con unas sandalias abiertas de Zara en fresh colors, para dar una nota de color a look y crear este conjunto. Simplemente grandioso.

There are profiles I visit regularly, because they are super inspiring. It turns out that having style is not easy and Alfavi is that guys, which leaves them a major hassle everywhere, dare with clothes, textures and every day, gives us a snapshot with your look of the day.

Regalos para papá!

Como el dia del padre esta cerca, esta semana el #WhatToWear te hace la lista de regalos para papá, así que si eres un padre joven y enrollado, seguro que estas piezas te van a gustar!. Siempre he pensado que un regalo perfecto es eso, que quieres tanto, pero que no te a atreves a comprarte a ti mismo. Así que en la selección de hoy, hay un poco de todo, pero sobre todo, regalos que cualquiera de nosotros agradecería.

La pieza central, el polo en color blanco, es simple y deja resaltar todos los accesorios que acompañan el look. Fabricado en algodón, tiene logos y abotonadura en la parte frontal. Una pieza básica, a  la que le sacaras mucho partido en primavera y verano.

Completamos la sencillez, con unos buenos vaqueros; los 501, te sacaran de cualquier apuro, no por nada el denim es el tejido de este siglo. Su corte recto es atemporal y se adapta bien al cuerpo, el tono light blue va perfecto durante todo el año. Otra pieza a la que le puedes sacar mucho partido.

De mis piezas favoritas; las bambas de cuero rígido y ante. Sobre el gris pálido del que están hechos, resaltan los intensos colores que forman las partes del zapato. Perfecto para vaqueros, pantalones cortos y chinos. El cierre por cordones y su suela de goma completa su aire deportivo y desenfadado, en un calzado masculino y actual.

Los "undies", son un regalo perfecto, sobre todo si vienen de tu pareja, (ojo suegras, los calzoncillos de regalo, nos ponen colorados). Fabricados en poliéster y elastán, dan un buen ajuste y apariencia al equipamiento. Con cintura elástica y logo.

Una fragancia siempre es un buen regalo, de hijos a padres, de hermanos, de pareja, busca siempre una colonia, que se adapte a tu piel, para comenzar la primavera, prueba esta de notas marinas y madera. Su vibrante color rojo no pasa desapercibido.

Si el presupuesto es mas reducido, un fular siempre es un regalo bien recibido, este es bicolor, azul/blanco y tiene un print de motos, que lo hace muy divertido. Una mochila, es otro regalo perfecto, sirve para viajes cortos, escapadas de fin de semana, o el uso diario, si eres de los que sale con muchos artículos para el día a día. Esta es de uno de mis diseñadores favoritos y mezcla lona en tartán mas cuero bovino en la parte inferior. 

Mis favoritos; los caprichos, primero un brazalete en latón, de otra leyenda de la moda, con logo tallado y terminado en calaveras que cierran el brazalete, es rígido, por lo que hay que estar pendiente de la talla y el ajuste. Aunque no soy fan de color oro, es uno de mis pendientes en la colección de relojes, y he visto este modelo un par de veces en el aeropuerto y me resulta muy bien logrado, en un cronografico en color oro, de acero inoxidable con dial en negro. doble cierre de seguridad, un regalo al cual cualquiera daría el "si quiero". Cerramos con un billetera, de otra marca histórica, esta, en azul francés, de cuero de bovino, tiene el distintivo patron de la casa en el exterior y por dentro, compartimientos para tarjetas y efectivo.

As the day of the father is near, this week #WhatToWear makes you the list of gifts for dad, so if you are a young and rolled father, surely these pieces you will like !. I've always thought that a perfect gift is that, you want both, but do not you dare buy yourself. So in today's selection, there is a bit of everything, but mostly, gifts any of us appreciate.

The centerpiece, the pole in white, is simple and lets highlight all the accessories that come with the look. Made of cotton, it has logos and buttoned at the front. A basic piece, which would you shall bring out much game in spring and summer.

We complete simplicity, with good jeans; 501, you take out of any trouble, not for nothing the denim is the fabric of this century. Its straight cut is timeless and adapts well to the body, light blue tone is perfect throughout the year. Another piece that you can benefit substantially.

Of my favorite pieces; sneakers stiff leather and suede. On the pale they are made of gray, they highlight the intense colors that form the sides of the shoe. Perfect for jeans, shorts and Chinese. Closing by laces and rubber sole completes its sporty and casual air, in a male and actual footwear.

The "undies" are a perfect gift, especially if they come from your partner (eye-law, underpants gift, we put colored). Made of polyester and elastane, they give a good fit and appearance to the equipment. With elastic waistband and logo.

A fragrance is always a good gift, from children to parents, siblings, couple, always looking for a colony that suits your skin for early spring, try this marine notes and wood. Its vibrant red is not lost.

If the budget is smaller, a scarf is always a welcome gift, this is bicolor, blue / white and has a print of motorcycles, which makes it very funny. A backpack is another perfect gift, used for short trips, getaways weekend, or everyday use, if you are someone who goes with many items for the day. This is one of my favorite designers and mix tartan canvas cowhide more at the bottom.

My Favourites; whims, first bracelet brass, another fashion legend, with carved and finished in closing the bracelet skull logo, is rigid, so you must be aware of the size and fit. Although I am not a fan of gold color, it is one of my earrings in the collection of watches, and I've seen this model a couple of times at the airport and I find it very well done, in a chronograph in gold color, stainless steel dial in black. double safety lock, a gift which would give any "I do". We closed a wallet, another historic mark, this, in French blue, bovine leather, has the distinctive pattern of the house outside and inside, compartments for cards and cash.

Smart week

En el ultimo look de #CasualWear te hable del estilo Smart-Casual, pues esta vez vamos a ponernos un pelín mas serios, por que no siempre podemos ir en deportes a la oficina, o por que tu estilo tira mas a lo preppy que a lo informal. Sustituyendo las bambas por zapatos de cordones, logramos un estilo mas cuidado, perfecto para cualquier momento de la semana. Por eso hoy el #WhatToWear, tiene un look para tener una Smart-Week.

La pieza central, la chaqueta americana, un básico de fondo de armario, que tiene que estar incluida siempre, en azul profundo la puedes usar con vaqueros, con pantalones formales, con jeans y los mas arriesgados con joggers. Esta es de bolsillos cocidos sin solapa, que le da un aire mas relajado. Es una mezcla de algodón y elástico, así que tiene muy buen ajuste sobre el cuerpo.

La camisa es otro básico, que te sacará de muchos líos, tiene cuello italiano y esta fabricada en algodón elástico, para definir la silueta, (ojo con este corte y fabricación si estamos con kilos de mas). Su color azul esta logrado por finas rayas continuas, que le dan ese toque de elegancia clásica, perfecta para este look.

Mi favorito; el cardigan de barras al pecho, este tipo de diseño, aporta volumen visualmente a este punto y hace un efecto de amplitud, tu torso parece mas ancho en relación a tu cintura. Es de algodón en tejido de jersey, con cinco botones frontales y ajuste en puños y cintura. En un pálido azul francés, es una pieza masculina y moderna.

Los tejanos, aportan ese aire despreocupado que nos interesa. Corte slim, de piernas rectas, es una opción perfecta para ir despidiendo el invierno y comenzar la nueva temporada. En light blue, se adapta a muchos estilos, con camisas para ocaciones mas formales y con camiseta para momentos mas relajados.

La cartera de mano, es perfecta para mini-portatiles o para Ipad, tiene cierre de cremallera y esta fabricado en algodón tipo denim. Esta cartera continua con esa linea relajada, pero mantiene la utilidad de este tipo de accesorios. El reloj perfecto para este estilo, es de correa de cuero con costuras a contraste, y caja de acero inoxidable. Es un reloj perfecto para uso continuo, sin ser algo pretencioso.

El calzado; estos botines son de cuero autentico, de cordones frontales, un estilo clásico, actualizado por sus finos acabados. La regla principal, tenerlos impolutamente limpios y cuidados. A juego con ellos, un cinturón en cuero marrón, con hebilla metálica y pespuntes sobre todo el cuero.

Previously, on the last look #CasualWear I talk you about style Smart-Casual, but now we will put on a more serious tad, because we can not always go in sports shoes to the office, or if your style strip more to preppy that informal. By replacing sneakers to lace-up shoes, we achieved a perfect more careful style for any time of the week. So today the #WhatToWear, has a look to have a Smart-Week.

The centerpiece, the American jacket, a basic wardrobe, you have to always be included in the Use deep blue jeans, formal trousers, jeans and more adventurous with joggers. This is cooked without flap pockets, which gives a more relaxed air. It is a blend of cotton and elastic, so it has very good fit on the body.

The shirt is another basic, that will get you in a lot of trouble, it has Italian collar and is made of stretch cotton, to define the silhouette, (note this cut and manufacturing if we are with kilos of more). Its blue color is achieved by thin solid lines, that give it a touch of classic elegance, perfect for this look.

My favorite; the cardigan bar to the chest, this type of design, visually adds volume to this point and makes a breadth effect, your torso seems wider in relation to your waist. It is woven cotton jersey, with five front buttons and trim in cuffs and waist. A French pale blue, is a male, modern piece.

Texans, casually bring that interests us. Slim cut, straight legs, is a perfect choice to go dismissing the winter and start the new season. In light blue, it adapts to many styles, with shirts for more formal occasions and shirts for more relaxed moments.

The handbag is perfect for mini-notebooks or Ipad, has zipper and is made of cotton denim type. This portfolio continues that line relaxed, but keeps the usefulness of this type of accessories. Perfect for this style watch is leather strap with contrast stitching and stainless steel. It is a perfect watch for continuous use, without being pretentious.

El leñador

Hemos superado la obsesión por la super depilación de cejas y ahora las barbas dominan la estética masculina. Mucha de su fuerza la deben al look del leñador, una mezcla que reúne a indies y muppies por igual, que despierta por alguna extraña razón la libido de muchas chicas, hasta desvariar en la definición "empotrador", pero para no dar mas detalles incomodos, os dejo el #WhatToWear para que tengáis en cuenta, las claves del leñador.

La pieza central; es la camisa de cuadros, un obligado de este look, disponible en muchas versiones desde franela, algodón e incluso, ajustada, el punto son los cuadros. Esta tiene dos bolsillos  frontales y es de manga larga.

Necesitas unos buenos vaqueros para completar este look, estos en corte slim, son de la marca con mas experiencia en el denim. Considerando la temporada, el chaleco acolchado de plumón, es una apuesta fiable, es cómodo y cálido sin ser agobiante. Aporta color y sera útil con otros estilos.

Mi pieza favorita, la mochila, en un discreto tono de azul, tiene tirantes acolchados y tiene un tamaño ideal para llevar todo lo que necesitemos durante el día. Fabricada en materiales de alta calidad, es una pieza excepcional. 

El calzado del leñador, por naturaleza, son siempre botas, estas fabricadas en piel, en color tostado, tienen forro interior contra el frío y la caña supera el tobillo.

De accesorios; algo que a nuestra generación le fascina es la música, podéis disfrutar de ella, con el estilo de esos auriculares en rojo y azul, con aplicaciones de piel. El reloj, es perfecto en looks casuales, con correa de piel, tiene mecanismo de cuarzo, caja de acero inoxidable y cierre de hebilla.

We have overcome the obsession with super fixing eyebrows and now beard is dominate male esthetic. Much of its strength due to the lumberjack look, a mixture bringing together muppies and indies as weel, this style, waking up for a some strange reason the libido in many girls, to rant in the definition "the fucker" but I don´t to give more uncomfortable details , I leave the #WhatToWear that you may have in mind, the key Lumberjack style.

The centerpiece; It is the plaid shirt, a must for this look, available in many versions from flannel, cotton and even adjusted, the point are the squares. This has two front pockets and long sleeves.

Need some good jeans to complete the look, these slim cut are from one of the brand with more experience in denim. Considering the season, padding down vest, it is a reliable bet, comfortable and warm without being pushy. It brings color and be useful with other styles.

My favorite piece, the backpack, in a discreet shade of blue, has padded suspenders, perfect size is an ideal place to carry everything you need during the day. It´s made of high quality materials, an exceptional piece.

Lumberjack footwear, by nature, is always boots, these is made of leather, dark brown color, have lining against cold and the cane exceeds the ankle.

Accessories; something that our generation love is music, you can enjoy it with style whit these headphones in red and blue, with leather. The clock is perfect for casual looks, with leather strap, has quartz movement, stainless steel case and buckle closure.

Salió mi bomber de paseo

Me fascina la textura que aporta la piedra, tiene tantas variedades, cada una cuenta una historia, cada una a sido parte de un proceso, nos cuenta de donde viene y su apariencia es consecuencia de muchos años, tal vez cientos. La canción decía, "las piedras, rodando se encuentran" y es muy probable que sea verdad y que algún día como piedras, con historia y después de tanto tiempo, con otras piedras nos volvamos a encontrar.

Estamos entrando al otoño y ha sido la escusa perfecta para sacar mi “bomber”, una pieza que seguirá muy fuerte este año, esta la tengo desde el año pasado. Aunque haya quien piense que un sillón de la casa de la abuela tuvo que morir, para dar vida a mi chaqueta, es una compañera perfecto en este cambio de temporadas. Luis.

I love the texture that gives the stone, has many varieties, each one tells a story, each in been part of a process, tells where it comes from and its appearance is the result of many years, perhaps hundreds. The song says, "the stones, rolling they find" and is very likely to be true, and someday as stones, history and after all this time, with other stones we meet again.

We are entering the fall and it was the perfect excuse to take out my "bomber", a piece that will continue very strong this year, I had this since last year. Even when someone may think that a Grandma couch had to die, to give life to my jacket, it is a perfect partner in this change of seasons. Luis.

Fular en verano

Una semana mas voy arrastrando mi maleta, cargando en mi nuevo maletín de Tommy el portátil, para poder seguir alimentando el blog. Parece ser que este verano no tiene días de descanso y voy de nuevo dejando un sitio, su gente y sus historias, para trasladarme a pasar unos días, cercano a la costa para despejar, desconectar y sonreír en otras locaciones.

En este look quería compartir con vosotros una de mis piezas favoritas, los fulares; son muy versátiles y agregan un toque de color o de textura. Este, fue fichado para el vestidor en el final de las rebajas.

One more time, I´m carry on whit my suitcase, whit my new Tommy´s briefcase, whit the intention to keep posting in the blog. This summer looks, whit out intentions to have days off, and one again I´m leaving a place, it´s people and it´s histories, for spend a few days, closer to the coast for make my mind free, stay away from it all and smile in a new locations.

In this look I wont to share whit us, one of my favorites garment pieces, the scarf; it´s a really wearable thing, contribute whit a twist of color and texture. This one, was catched for my dressroom in the end of this sale sasson.

Turquesa mas oro

Para esos dias donde no queréis perder formalidad, pero os queréis arriesgar con notas de color; os dejo el #WhatTowear de la semana. Un look serio, rico en colores vibrantes e intensos, sin ser recargado.

Jeans, slim fit, en denim de efecto desgastado. Camisa blanca, de cuello semi-italiano. Sustituyendo a la chaqueta, integro este chalequillo de abotonadura frontal, es una mezcla de lino y algodón en gris claro.

Boxers ajustados en color navy. Mi pieza favorita; los mocasines en turquesa, están fabricados en cuero de gran calidad y llevan la guía de color del look. La corbata y el pañuelo son el contraste de color, ambos en color oro viejo, fabricados en seda.

De accesorios; gafas de sol, con moldura en carey y patas super finas, seria mi segunda pieza favorita. Pulsera de acero trenzado, de eslabones medios. El reloj es de una de mis marcas preferidas, con efecto cromo, la carátula es azul e integra cronógrafo. El pisacorbatas es un accesorio base de un gentleman, este en azul es recto y de ajuste firme.

For those days where you do not want to lose formality, but do want to risk with colored notes; I leave the #WhatTowear  of the week. A serious look, rich in vibrant and intense colors, without being recharged.

Jeans, slim fit, worn denim effect. White shirt, half-Italian collar. Substituting a jacket, I integrates this vest, front breasted, it is a mixture of linen and cotton, in light gray.

Adjusted Boxers, navy color. My favorite piece; turquoise moccasins, are made of high quality leather are, the guide of color in this look. Tie and hanky, are the contrast color, both in old gold color, made of silk.

Accessories; Sunglasses with tortoiseshell trim and super thin legs, would be my second favorite piece. Bracelet braided steel, middle links. The clock is one of my favorite brands, with chrome effect, the cover is blue and integrates chronograph. The tie clips is a basic accessory for a gentleman, this blue one, is straight and tight fit.

Una tarde en Coyoacán

La ciudad de México tiene rincones que son sencillamente mágicos y en el sur, Coyoacán es un "must to", para disfrutar de la ciudad mas grande del mundo. Con negocios que tienen las puertas abiertas desde 1918, ofrece lo mejor de la gastronomía y la cultura mexicana.

Para esta tarde decidí, sacar a la calle mi look de año nuevo, que aunque os deje las piezas por separado en otro post, no subí fotos de esto y Coyoacán era una locación perfecta para mostrarlo. Con sus aires artísticos, sus terrazas, cafés, restaurantes y el encanto de sus plazas fue una de las mejores tardes de mi estancia en México, una vez mas con mi hermana.

Con una de mis camisas favoritas, en denim de color azul, tiene un suave estampado de flores y slippers negros que el invierno en México permite usarlos. Si os gusta, comentar y compartir, un abrazo Luis.

Mexico City has corners that are simply magical and in the south area, Coyoacan is a "must to" for enjoy the world's largest city. With local stores that have the doors open since 1918, offers the best of Mexican cuisine and culture.

For this evening I decided, take to the streets my new year look, although I let the pieces separately in another post, I did not go up pictures of this, but Coyoacan was a perfect location for display.
